Ginger Sesame Dressing Recipe: A Flavorful Twist for Your Salads

A simple salad dressing recipe incorporating ginger.

Ginger Sesame Dressing:

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together grated ginger, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey or maple syrup, minced garlic, and sesame oil until well combined.
  2. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously to emulsify the dressing.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Taste the dressing and adjust the ingredients according to your preference. You can add more soy sauce for saltiness, honey for sweetness, or vinegar for acidity.
  5. Once you’re satisfied with the flavor, transfer the dressing to a jar or container with a tight-fitting lid for storage.
  6. Shake well before using and drizzle over your favorite salad just before serving.

This dressing pairs wonderfully with a variety of salads, especially those featuring mixed greens, crunchy vegetables, and even grilled chicken or tofu. Enjoy!
