Peanut Butter Dog Treats Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 1/4 cups hot water

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and rolled oats.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the natural peanut butter and hot water until well blended.
  4. Pour the peanut butter mixture into the flour and oats mixture and stir until thoroughly combined.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface until it forms a smooth ball.
  6. Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thickness and cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters.
  7. Place the treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
  9. Allow the treats to cool completely before serving to your furry friend.

This recipe makes about 2 dozen treats, depending on the size of the cookie cutters you use. You can store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks or in the fridge for up to a month.
