To send an email from Outlook to a Teams chat, you can use the “Share to Teams” feature in Outlook.
Here are the steps to follow:
- Open Outlook and find the email you want to share in a Teams chat.
- Click on the “Share to Teams” button in the top ribbon. This button is represented by the Teams logo.
- In the “Share to” window that appears, select the Teams chat where you want to share the email.
- You can optionally include a message with the email by typing it in the “Add a message” field.
- Click “Send” to share the email to the Teams chat.
The email will appear in the Teams chat as a card with a preview of the email contents, and the recipient(s) can click on the card to open the full email in Outlook.
Note that this feature requires that you have both Outlook and Teams installed on your computer, and that you are signed in to both applications with the same account.
