Ninja Foodi Salisbury Steak Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Salisbury steak:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard [Or Mustard of Choice]
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the gravy:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, Dijon mustard, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4-6 equal portions and shape each into a patty.
  3. Preheat your Ninja Foodi on the sauté function.
  4. Add the butter to the Ninja Foodi and heat it up.
  5. Add the sliced onion and garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes, until softened.
  6. Push the onions and garlic to the side and add the Salisbury steak patties to the Ninja Foodi. Sear on both sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Remove the patties from the Ninja Foodi and set them aside.
  8. Add the flour to the Ninja Foodi and stir well to combine with the onion and garlic.
  9. Slowly pour in the beef broth, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
  10. Add the Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  11. Return the Salisbury steak patties to the Ninja Foodi, making sure they are submerged in the gravy.
  12. Close the pressure cooker lid and cook on high pressure for 8-10 minutes.
  13. Once the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 5 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  14. Carefully remove the Salisbury steak patties from the Ninja Foodi with a spatula.
  15. Serve the Salisbury steak hot, topped with the gravy and accompanied by your favorite side dishes.
